    Start with the basics

    What exactly is “mentorship”?

Most students have never had it, so here is the plain answer before anything else.
    Definition

Mentorship is private, hour-based PTE coaching. One senior trainer works only with you — on the exact tasks holding your score down — and keeps correcting your work between sessions until you hit your target.

    What it is not
    • A recorded course you watch alone
    • A 20-student batch class on a fixed syllabus
    • A practice-portal subscription
    • A package you must buy for months
    What it is
    • A senior trainer working only with you, live
    • A plan built from YOUR score report
    • Unlimited correction of the work you submit
    • Hours you buy — 4, 6, 8 — and nothing more
    How mentorship actually runs

A 5-hour mentorship program, start to finish

Five hours is our minimum — the same path stretches to 8 or 10 hours when a skill needs 2–3 classes instead of one.

    1. Day 1

      Free evaluation

      15–20 min · free

A live 1-on-1 lesson-style call. We test you briefly, read your score report, and decide together how many hours you actually need.

      • No payment, no pressure
      • Output: hour count + skill order
    2. Day 2

      Speaking

      1–1.5 h

Fluency, pronunciation and oral fluency mechanics — Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence, Describe Image, Retell Lecture.

      • 2–3 classes if speaking is weak
      • Scored the way the machine scores
    3. Day 3

      Writing

      1–1.5 h

SWT one-sentence discipline, Essay template, grammar and spelling traps that quietly cost you marks.

      • Your own templates, not generic ones
      • Rewrites corrected line by line
    4. Day 4

      Listening & Reading

      1–2 h

These two share skills, so we usually teach them together: note-taking, SST, WFD, FIB and reading speed strategy.

      • Combined when your bands are close
      • Split in 2 when one skill is weak
    5. Day 5

      Mock review

      1 hour

You sit a full scored mock; we review it question by question and lock your exam-day plan and timing.

      • Trainer-reviewed, not just AI
      • Output: go / wait exam decision

Hours are never split evenly — they follow your weak skills
    01

    One trainer, one student

Not a class you join. A senior trainer sits with only you, on your weak tasks, at times you both lock in.

    02

    Built from your real score

We start from your score report or a live diagnostic — then coach only the tasks costing you points. Your hours aren't split evenly across skills; they're weighted toward the ones actually losing you marks.

    03

    Method, then practice, then feedback

Each session teaches a method, you practise between sessions, and we correct your work by text, audio or video.

    04

You buy hours, not a package

Hours are the only thing you pay for. Feedback, study plan, mock test and portal access come with them.

    Self-study vs class vs 1-on-1

Why one-on-one, and not another course

Same exam, three very different ways to prepare. This is the honest difference.

Who the teaching is aimed at

    Self-study / app

    Nobody — you guess

    Group class

The average student in the room

    1-on-1 mentorship

Only you and your score gap

    How your weakness is found

    Self-study / app

    Trial and error over months

    Group class

Rarely — no time per student

    1-on-1 mentorship

Diagnosed in the first 20 minutes

    Speaking corrected out loud

    Self-study / app

    Never

    Group class

    Occasionally, in front of others

    1-on-1 mentorship

    Every session, sound by sound

    Feedback on your writing

    Self-study / app

    AI score only, no reason

    Group class

    Generic model answers

    1-on-1 mentorship

    Line-by-line, text / audio / video

    Plan changes when you plateau

    Self-study / app

You keep repeating the same drill

    Group class

    Syllabus can't change for you

    1-on-1 mentorship

    Re-planned the same week

    Time to see movement

    Self-study / app

    Months, often no movement

    Group class

    4–8 weeks

    1-on-1 mentorship

    Usually 1–2 weeks

    Machine scoring is unforgiving

PTE marks fluency, oral fluency and content on narrow rules. A trainer hears in 10 minutes what months of self-practice never reveals.

Repeat attempts fail for the same reason

Most students re-sit with the same habit that cost them the score, because nobody ever diagnosed the real blocker.

Your gap is specific, not average

A group class teaches the average student. Your missing points sit in one or two tasks — that's what we work on.

    The plan can change mid-week

The moment a mock shows something new, we rewrite your plan. No class syllabus can do that for you.

    Inside the program

What one mentorship hour actually looks like

Every session follows the same rhythm, so you always know what to prepare and what you'll walk away with.
    01

    Before the session

You submit your latest score report or recordings. Your trainer reviews them and comes in with a specific agenda — not a general lesson.

    02

In the session (60 min, live)

Method first, then you perform the task live while the trainer corrects you in real time — pronunciation, structure, timing, templates.

    03

    After the session

You get homework in the learning portal and submit it. We return written, audio or video feedback before the next session begins.

    Who chooses mentorship

Three kinds of students, three different plans

Read the one that sounds like you — it tells you roughly how many hours students in your position usually take.
    Type 1

Stuck on one or two skills after months of trying

You have been preparing for 4–5 months and one skill — speaking, writing, reading or listening — refuses to move. Everything else is close enough.

    Usually 5–6 hours
    Book free evaluation
    Type 2

    Coming from IELTS or TOEFL

Your English is fine — the exam is the problem. PTE is machine-scored, integrated-skill and template-driven, so IELTS habits actively cost you marks.

    Usually 7–8 hours
    Book free evaluation
    Type 3

Going from Competent to Superior English

You already have the score you needed once (e.g. Competent), but visa points now demand Proficient or Superior. The last 15 points are all precision.

    Usually 10+ hours
    Book free evaluation
    5, 8 or 10 hours?

How to decide how many hours you need

Five hours is the minimum we sell, and you never have to guess the number. Every student starts with a free 15–20 minute score evaluation — a real mini-lesson with a senior trainer. You see how we teach, we see where your marks are leaking, and only then do we agree on hours.
    5–6 hours
    One skill to fix
    • One weak skill, exam already booked
    • 2–3 weeks, 2–3 sessions per week
    • Method + drills + one feedback round
    Most students
    7–8 hours
Two skills, or new to PTE format
    • Speaking + writing, or reading + listening
    • 3 weeks of coaching
    • Includes full study plan + mock review
    • Most chosen by IELTS/TOEFL switchers
    10+ hours
Big jump or high band target
    • Competent → Proficient / Superior
    • 5+ weeks, all four skills touched
    • Live mock test + exam-day strategy
    • Best value per hour

Free score evaluation first — then decide

15–20 minutes, one-on-one, no payment and no pressure. Bring your score report if you have one. We'll tell you honestly which skills to fix, how many hours that realistically takes, and if mentorship isn't right for you we'll say so.

    What's inside

Everything you need to hit your score

Built on 10+ years of PTE training — every session is a 1-on-1, every practice attempt gets feedback, and the schedule adapts to you.

    Built for your first attempt

Strategy, drills and mock tests aligned to your exam date so you hit your target band on attempt #1 — not the third.

    1-on-1 intensive coaching

Senior trainer, locked schedule. Every session is private, focused on your weak areas, never group-shared.

    Diagnostic + weekly progress check

We map exactly where you stand on day 1, then re-score every week so you always see the gap closing before exam day.

    Personal study plan

A week-by-week plan calibrated to your weak skills, available study hours and target score — adjusted as you improve.

    Unlimited multi-format feedback

Submit any task — we reply with text corrections, audio voice-notes or short video walkthroughs. Never counted as hours.

    Same-day unblock calls

Stuck on a strategy between sessions? Quick 1-on-1 call the same day so a small block never becomes a lost week.

    Method library + prediction file

Strategy lessons, templates, mock tests and the latest exam prediction file — all included, kept up to date by the team.

    Coaching built around you

Every lesson is shaped around how you learn — your weak tasks, your pace, your exam date. You drive the plan; we adapt the teaching to you.

    Where this came from

From Project 79 to today's Mentorship Program

Six years of evidence — built batch by batch, refined student by student.

    1. 2018–19

      Project 79 launched

Superior English · 20 PR points · IELTS 8 equivalent

First batch: 19 of 23 students hit 79+ within ~3 months. Second batch: 8 of 11 followed. Born from a simple insight — focused cohorts get faster PR points.

What the name meant: Under the old rule, 79+ in EACH of Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening = Superior English = 20 points on the PR points test (roughly IELTS 8 in each band).

Same level today (rule from 7 Aug 2025)
      Speaking88Writing85Reading70Listening69

Since 7 August 2025 the Department no longer uses one flat number — Superior English is now these four per-skill minimums. Same 20 points, different numbers. "Project 79" is our original program name, not the current requirement.

    2. 2019–20

      Project 65 launched

Proficient English · 10 PR points · IELTS 7 equivalent

Three batches, 35 students. 90%+ hit their 65 target — proof the mentorship model works at every band, not just elite scorers.

What the name meant: Under the old rule, 65+ in EACH of Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening = Proficient English = 10 points on the PR points test (roughly IELTS 7 in each band).

Same level today (rule from 7 Aug 2025)
      Speaking76Writing69Reading59Listening58

From 7 August 2025, Proficient English is these four per-skill minimums instead of a flat 65 in each. Same 10 points. If you booked before that date, check which rule your visa application falls under.

    3. 2020–22

      Refined during COVID

We compressed Project 79 / 65 into a leaner, more personal 1-on-1 mentorship — same method, same results, smaller cohorts, sharper feedback. The program names stayed; the score targets later changed with the 7 Aug 2025 DHA rule, and we now plan every student against the current per-skill minimums.

    4. 2023 →

      Mentorship Program today

100% of our 1-on-1 mentorship students since 2023 have hit their required score in their FIRST attempt — 90%+ across the program's full history since 2019. True when students follow the study plan, complete the recommended practice, and submit their work for feedback.

    Your Journey

From day one to your first-attempt score

A clear three-stage path: we find exactly where you stand, fix the real blockers week by week, then rehearse the full exam with you before test day.
    01
    Diagnostic

We don't start from zero — we start from where you are

Your first session is a focused diagnostic across all four skills. We pinpoint your real blockers — note-taking, fluency, grammar accuracy, typing speed, fillers, hesitation — so every following session fixes a real problem, not a generic one.

    • Speaking: fluency, pronunciation, fillers, pacing
    • Writing: structure, grammar, vocabulary, typing
    • Reading: speed, comprehension, blanks accuracy
    • Listening: note-taking framework, keyword tracking
    02
    Weekly Intensive Coaching

Private 1-on-1 sessions that close the gap week by week

Every week your trainer drills the exact tasks you keep losing marks on, sets targeted homework, and re-scores you so you can see the gap shrinking. Stuck between sessions? Same-day unblock calls and unlimited text/audio/video feedback keep you moving.

    • Senior trainer, locked schedule, fully private
    • Targeted weekly homework on your weak tasks
    • Unlimited text, audio & video feedback
    • Same-day unblock call when you get stuck
    03
    Live Mock + Feedback

Walk into the real exam knowing exactly what to do

Before your final exam, you sit a 2-hour scored mock with us — your screen recorded. Your trainer reviews every answer, then you join a 45–60 minute feedback call so you know precisely how to handle each task on test day.

    • Live 2-hour Pearson-style scored mock test
    • Screen + voice recording for trainer review
    • 45–60 min one-on-one feedback session
    • Final exam-day strategy & checklist

The outcome: your target score on attempt #1 — not the third.

Diagnostic Weekly coaching Live mock Exam day
    Unlimited Feedback

Four ways we solve every problem — never counted as hours

Send us your practice attempt over our support channel. We respond with the format that makes the answer clearest — a quick text, a voice note, a recorded screen walkthrough, or a short live call. Your booked hours stay reserved for live coaching.

Private, hour-based PTE coaching: one senior trainer works only with you on the exact tasks losing you marks, with unlimited feedback between sessions.

    • It is not a group class and not a recorded course
    • You buy live coaching hours; plan, feedback, mock test and portal access are included
    • Everything starts from your real score report or a live diagnostic
